Our Catalog Management tool uses a unique way of creating and editing products. Using special filters and the separation of product information and features as attributes your database is always neat and complete. Together with our quotation tool you can close deals easier and faster!

How it works

Each product can have multiple codes linked to it, each code represents 1 product (or product versions). The name, description and images are the same for all codes linked to this product. But each code has different technical specifications (for example a T-Shirt can have multiple dimensions). These specifications are flexible for all codes can be different in values. If certain specifications are not available then it is not displayed in the offer. There is always a window that shows how the product will look in the offer page, helping you adjust the information so it always looks perfect! You can choose which version of the product to display using the drop-down list from above the offer page.

How to properly add a product from scratch into OptiOffer Catalog management tool?

  1. Click on "NEW PRODUCT"

  1. Add all the required information in the pop-up window and click "CREATE"
  • Image of product
  • Product name
  • Description
  • Code (SKU)
  • Price

  1. After creating the product it is possible to start adding the attributes and makes changes if required using the "+ ADD ATTRIBUTE" button.

  1. In the attribute window you can add the following information:
  • Name of the attribute (will be displayed on the offer page)
  • Type; When modifying the attribute you will be allowed to only use the one that you choose

    • Text
    • Number
    • Yes or No
  • Description (will not be displayed in the offer)
  • Measuring unit (will be displayed on the offer)
  • Default value (the value that the attribute will take if it not modified)

Click "CREATE" to add the attribute.

  1. After creating all the product attributes you can start add the value of each attribute. After adding to all the desired attributes values click "SAVE"

*Please note that if there will be no value added to an attribute it will not be displayed on the offer page

  1. Adding a new product version. Click on "+ ADD NEW VERSION" and simply add a new title, product code (SKU) and all the new value attribute values. Click "SAVE".

*Please note that it is possible to have an unlimited number of product versions

  1. Import/Export of product attributes. In order to add product faster to your database, it is very easy to either export or import the attributes.

7.1 Exporting product attributes can be done on any product, it will export all the attributes and will give the possibility to import the collection of attributes on any other product. Even if the attributes are exported or imported the user still has full control over all the attributes (edit and delete) on the given product and will not affect other attribute collections.

In order to export simply click "EXPORT" on the attributes tab and choose a name and description for the attribute collection.

7.2 Importing attributes collections. Any exported collection can be imported to any other product. Simply choose the desired save collection and click "IMPORT". After import the attributes can be edited or deleted as the user requires.

  1. Viewing other product version in the offer page.

The user can always check how any of the products will be displayed on the offer when created. In order to choose another version to be displayed (first version is always on display as default), the user has to choose from the dropdown menu which version of the product he/she would like to view.
